Denver Area Panhellenic (DAP) began in 1908 with nine (9) national women’s fraternities. Currently there are 26 fraternities represented and each fraternity has two delegates working to promote the fraternity system, to improve the Panhellenic image, to inform fraternity women of current trends, and to stimulate continued interest in Panhellenic affairs.
Long-time Denver Alumnae of Alpha Phi member, Renée Verspoor, has been appointed to serve as a Delegate at Large for the Denver Area Panhellenic (DAP) from 2019-2020. Renée graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Design and from the University of Denver with a master’s degree in Real Estate and Construction Management. She is a construction project manager for Denver Public Schools. She has served Alpha Phi in various officer roles, and as president led the Denver chapter to win Outstanding Large Alumnae Chapter on the international level. Renée most recently served as the President of DAP from 2017-2018. We congratulate Renée on her new position and welcome her leadership as she represents Alpha Phi in the DAP community!
